Like a chill that runs down the back of your neck and makes the hair on your arms stand on end… the siren's song will lure and haunt you for years to come.

This year, Siren Song Productions brings the art community a brand new festival focused on showcasing the best in horror. We bring you horror films that cross the spectrum of all that is bloody, invigorating, and downright thrilling. Our goal is to have something for every type of horror fan, from classics to contemporary films, and cult classics to "B" movies. We hope to see you laugh with nervousness, cry in fear, and run screaming back home to safety.

Our journey began in early 2012 while sitting in the mountains, surrounded by tall pines for as far as the eye can see - no one anywhere nearby to hear a scream. The idea came to us. Let's have a horror film fest somewhere remote… somewhere scary… somewhere that would make a person nervous just getting there. We hunted down a venue that would be perfectly creepy and we finally nailed it.

As we drove along the long, straight road to Death's Junction, we saw the beauty of the desert and felt the uneasiness of being alone, far from everyone and everything. Dry salty beds of cracked earth passed by the window; rocky mountains rose and fell; mirages beckoned us farther, farther, and farther into the desert. We passed a quaint "town" (if one could call it that) of Shoshone, population "less than 20". A bit further, we rounded a bend in the road and we were there - Death Valley Junction, California. Home of the Armagosa Opera House and Hotel.

The long, white, Spanish-style Adobe building that used to encompass all of the town buildings sat there… alone… almost abandoned. We were taken back to another place and time. A time where workers excavated the hills for borax. They worked long, hard days in the hot sun. They were alone, no family, no wife, no source of reprieve from the day to day life in a borax mine. Separated from the rest of the world, things were bound to happen. Bad things.

Although the mining town officially ceased operations in 1928, it seems that there are several unresolved spirits left behind. From a creepy cat that has appeared so often, that Marta Becket painted it in many of her famous paintings all over the hotel and opera house to the ghosts in Spooky Hallow - the undeveloped portion of the hotel where the miners actually lived, including their morgue and hospital - there are plenty of spaces here that will leave you with a cold chill.

We invite you to come, stay, and enjoy all that horror has to offer, set in a place that will take you back in time and might cause your heart to race like the wind from time to time. Brave the weekend in one of the hotel rooms or enjoy your space in our tent and RV camping area. Either way, we're sure you will enjoy your stay at Camp Crystal Lake: Horror Film Fest…

we dare you to make it through the weekend.

The sirens are calling… will they lure you in?
